  4. "load of bull" (NATION, Sept. 18). Smile when you say that,
  5. pardner. The world witnessed the splendid spectacle of 100 real
  6. Montana cowboys bringing 3,000 cattle into Billings after a
  7. 60-mile drive, along with 3,000 outriders on horse and wagon who
  8. never had more fun in their lives. Contrary to your dyspeptic
  9. assertions, the great cattle drives of the past have not faded
  10. from Montana's memories; nor have traditional values, the spirit
  11. of the Old West or the celebration of life departed this state.
